A few days after Christmas we put away our presents and got ourselves ready for our last big date of 2011, Niamh and Paul’s Oaks Farm wedding. There is something hauntingly beautiful about a winter wedding – the starkness of the season really allows the bride and groom to take centre stage, especially in the photography.
After the church ceremony in the huge and beautiful church, we were all taken on a big, red London bus to the reception at Oaks Farm. We were entertained by the guests and the bride and groom themselves with a good, old irish sing-a-long. Once at the venue, everyone was well looked after in beautiful surroundings, well into the evening.
